Fiona is an Executive Assistant for Roe Lawyers and has over 30 years’ experience working in high pressured environments such as the media, finance and legal sectors.

Fiona provides administrative support to our solicitors and understands the necessary rigour and precision required as part of a legal team. She’s worked with the firm from its inception and continues to take pride in building excellent working relationships with clients and all members of staff.

Leonie Goodman

Leonie is exceptionally experienced, having previously led a human resources team in a large, dynamic, multi-site organisation.

At Roe Lawyers, Leonie oversees our HR function and provides advice and assistance to employees and managers at all levels. She often calls upon her stellar knowledge and experience within the industry and within boutique practices. Leonie is a proactive and passionate professional. She has a genuine love of helping people, strong communication skills, positive energy and adopts a practical approach.

Astrid studied LLB Law (Hons) at the University of Exeter, graduating in 2024. Following this, she pursued a Master’s (LLM) in Public International Law.

Following several placements with criminal barrister chambers and solicitors, Astrid decided to pursue a career in criminal defence law with Roe Lawyers.

Paul Morris

Paul Morris is a senior litigator with extensive experience in complex and serious crime, advising and defending on a range of criminal matters including homicide, sexual offences, blackmail, drugs offences, various degrees of assault and financial crime.

Paul provides advice from the early stages of an investigation through to trial and merits of appeal. He also provides advice and assistance to potential witnesses or individuals that have received a request to attend court to give evidence or produce documents.

Paul has particular experience in crisis and reputation management, advising professionals from the finance, music, medical, sports, political and teaching professions in relation to serious and complex investigations and prosecutions. As such, he is often called on to advise in parallel regulatory and/or disciplinary proceedings.

He provides expert and discreet representation to high-profile individuals, including those in the entertainment industry, on a range of serious criminal matters.

Paul trained and then qualified in 1998 at a large provincial firm and then practised in a West End firm from 1999 to 2002. Paul has practised in leading criminal law firms and most notably, he developed and headed BCL Solicitors’ Serious and General Crime team for several years. Paul’s first class advice, strategic thinking and support for his clients sees him ranked Band 1 Chambers UK : Crime and ‘Hall of Fame’ Legal 500 : Crime.

Stephanie Roe

Stephanie is a seasoned criminal practitioner, having spent over 17 years representing clients from all backgrounds from celebrities, athletes, high net worth individuals, professionals to students and children. She prides herself in her unique approach to her cases and her ability to proactively conclude proceedings swiftly to the benefit of the client. She works tirelessly on all her cases and is always available to her clients, which allows her to develop a close and successful working relationship. Stephanie also acts for a number of vulnerable clients such as those with special educational needs and disabilities, approaching cases with empathy and understanding. She’s also developed an excellent reputation in regulatory work which has developed alongside her criminal practice as there’s often an overlap in the two areas.

Stephanie was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2006, before cross-qualifying to become a solicitor. She trained and worked at top ranked London criminal firms undertaking a full range of both general and business crime cases as a Solicitor and Higher Court Advocate. Prior to setting up Roe Lawyers, Stephanie’s practice had largely become privately funded with cases being referred as a result of her well-deserved reputation as a top-class London solicitor.
